Windows
DC++
- OS: Microsoft Windows

- Pros
+ Main DC++ client, virtually all others are derived form this
- Cons
- No standard mods (ie client emulating)
BCDC++
- OS: NT, 2000, XP, 2003

- Pros
+ Bandwidth Limiting + colored & highlighting text + Various media players plug into the client + commonly used among the more advanced users, easy to find help
- Cons
- Might be banned on some public hubs.
StrongDC

- Pros
+ Segmented downloads are cool. (see con) + GPL-ed, source is available.
- Cons
- The upload speeds tends to be limited by the client itself, for some unknown reason - Default Segmented Downloads is not good for high speed networks. - There is a limit of one search every 30 seconds
